Encore Performance Camp
July 26-31, 2010 for students entering grades 3-9
We'll be performing a lighthearted, updated musical adaptation of Sleeping Beauty!
Only 3 morning slots and 1 afternoon slot remain open, so hurry!
Since 1992, area residents have had the opportunity to send their children to Carol's one-of-a-kind summer music camp where the emphasis is on having a thoroughly enjoyable musical theater experience.
In 2009, 30 girls and boys in two separate casts performed a fun, original musical entitled Snow White and the Seven Songs. The music included beloved songs from several different musicals and the story line was brought up to date with several new twists. the audience of young children, older children and adults all laughed their way through the performances.
Campers did an incredible job of learning and rehearsing the show, helping make simple scenery, and deciding upon costuming. Every summer, our audience is amazed at how much the campers can accomplish in one brief week of camp and the final music-filled performance is always a delight.

Our previous productions – adaptations of Mary Poppins, Annie, Cinderella, Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz – were all fun for everyone in the cast as well as for the audience.
Each camper comes away from the experience with a tremendous sense of accomplishment and a desire to keep learning more.
In 2010, campers again will receive a practice music CD a week or so before camp begins so they can start learning the songs at home. Auditions are held on the second day of camp and everyone gets cast in a role and often two.
All campers need to bring is a desire to perform and a willingness to be part of a team effort. “Miss Carol” will bring the snacks!
